How it Happened (Game Two)
- It was SPU who struck first in the second contest as they tallied four runs in the bottom of the second.

- Then in the sixth, the Knights cut the deficit down to one with a one-out solo home run heading into the final frame.
- In the seventh, FDU was able to tie the game with an RBI double and take the lead one batter later with an RBI single to center to pull ahead 7-6.
