How It Happened
- Niagara scored three runs in the second.
- Sophomore shortstop Jack Eichler hit a sacrifice fly to center field in the second which scored freshman infielder Tyler Smith.
- The Peacocks again struck for one run in the third, as junior catcher Michael Cardone grounded out to shortstop but brought home senior outfielder Anthony Abbatine.
- Niagara added a run in the fifth.
- The Purple Eagles put up a five spot in the sixth inning.
- Eichler recorded another RBI in the seventh, bringing home graduate infielder Chris Marquart.
- Niagara plated another run in the eighth.
- Saint Peter's tacked on two runs in the bottom of the ninth via a home run from sophomore outfielder Collin Jensen and an unearned run by graduate outfielder Tom Buckman.
