JERSEY CITY, NJ - Trevor Clifton has been named as the new Assistant Athletics Director for Strategic Communications, Director of Athletics Rachelle Paul announced today.
"We are beyond excited for Trevor to start in his new role at Saint Peter's," Paul said. "He has worked tirelessly as a Graduate Assistant and we look forward to the future of our department with Trevor aboard."
Clifton served as a Graduate Assistant at Saint Peter's University during the 2021-22 Academic year, serving as an Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant. He was the primary contact for four athletic teams, consisting of men's and women's soccer, women's basketball, and baseball. Clifton played a crucial role in content development during men's basketball's run to the Elite Eight. He also assisted with a variety of game day operations. He, along with Rich Behan, started the Peacock Podcast for Saint Peter's Athletics, which debuted this past September.
"I am excited and blessed to be working at Saint Peter's," Clifton said. "I would like to thank Rachelle Paul for believing in me and giving me the opportunity at this university. I'm ready to continue building the relationships I have already developed with the staff, coaches, and student-athletes and I will continue to do my best to provide the best student-athlete experience for our athletes."
Clifton earned his bachelor's degree in Communications from the State University of New York at Geneseo, where he also served as an intern in the Athletic Department.
