Katie Sciglimpaglia (Norwalk, Conn.) and senior
Cara McNulty (Middletown, N.J.) singled with one out. Turner ripped a double to drive in both runners for a 2-0 lead.

The Peacocks took advantage of an error to score a run in the third, while Forte blasted solo homerun in the fifth.

Coppin State chipped away with a run in the final three innings but freshman
Sydney Palmer (Fellsmere, Fla.) recorded the final two outs to close the door on an Eagles comeback to earn her third save of the season.

Sydney Senerchia (Northford, Conn.) got the start in the circle, tossing five innings, allowing one run on three hits with three strikeouts to improve to 9-2.
