JERSEY CITY, N.J.- Saint Peter's University Athletics announced Men's Basketball redshirt freshman Bryce Eaton and Women's Swimming & Diving freshman Paige Austin-Burrows as the Peacocks of the Month for November.
For Men's Basketball, Eaton was heroic in the Peacocks' 78-76 win over FDU on Tuesday, Nov. 26 with a game-winning layup as time expired. In the win over FDU, Eaton recorded 21 points and four assists in 30 minutes. Since the start of the season, Eaton recorded three double-digit scoring performances against Seton Hall University, University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and FDU.
Eaton will look to be a key contributor for the month of December. His month will kick off when the Peacocks are set to face Duquesne University on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Pittsburgh.
On the Women's Swimming & Diving team, Austin-Burrows had an electric month of November. She won two races in the Women's 100-Yard Butterfly and 200-Yard Butterfly heats in a home tri-meet against Sacred Heart University and Merrimack College on Saturday, Nov. 23. In that same meet, Austin-Burrows also had a second-place finish in the Women's 200-Yard Backstroke.
Austin-Burrows will lead the women's roster of the Peacocks to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Winter Championships this upcoming weekend from Friday to Sunday in East Meadow, N.Y.
