Tyler Smith Recorded Three RBIs In Saturday's Loss At Rider

Lawrenceville, N.J.- Saint Peter's Baseball lost Saturday's game against Rider, 8-4, at Sonny Pittaro Field.
Game Notes
  • In the third inning, Saint Peter's found itself with a 3-2 lead following an early 2-0 deficit.  
  • Rider eventually reclaimed the lead and held on for a four-run win.
  • Jonny Gilligan received the loss for the Peacocks.
  • Tyler Smith accounted for three RBIs with a sacrifice fly and a single.  
  • The Peacocks recorded eight hits.
  • Smith and Baker led the way at the plate with two hits each.
  • Unfortunately for Saint Peter's, Saturday's loss resulted in a series sweep.
  • The Peacocks are now 1-5 in MAAC play and 7-22 overall.
 
Saint Peter's will host Monmouth University on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
