JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Four Saint Peter's softball players,
Olivia Christopher,
Taylor Montgomery,
Dakota Pitts and
Angelina Wagner, were named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, CSC announced on Tuesday.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District Softball teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) to be eligible.
Christopher played in and started all 48 games for the Peacocks. She tallied 62 hits, six of which were doubles, 13 RBIs and 28 runs scored. In the field, Christopher finished the season with 76 putouts and 107 assists.
Montgomery started 48 games for Saint Peter's this season in the outfield. She totaled 37 hits, eight RBIs, 27 runs and nine stolen bases. Montgomery finished the season with a .958 fielding percentage with 65 putouts and three assists.
Pitts also played in and started all 48 games for the Peacocks. She had 44 hits, nine doubles, a home run, 30 RBIs and 12 runs. Pitts led the team with 368 putouts in the field while playing first base.
Wagner made 33 appearances for Saint Peter's in 2025, making 22 starts. As a pitcher, she made 13 appearances in the circle while making six starts. Wagner recorded 15 hits, six doubles, a home run, eight RBIs and eight runs. She also threw 24 strikeouts in 41.1 innings pitched.
