JERSEY CITY, NJ – Saint Peter's University men's and women's swimming & diving programs were named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2025 semester, as announced by the organization this week.
The CSCAA recognized 709 teams from 414 institutions nationwide for their academic excellence, marking the highest academic honor awarded by the association. The award, presented by Fitter and Faster Swim Camps, honors programs that demonstrate achievement in the classroom while competing at the highest levels of collegiate athletics.
Saint Peter's posted a combined team grade point average above 3.00 to earn the distinction. The women's program recorded an impressive 3.55 GPA during the fall semester, while the men's team finished with a 3.18 GPA.
The Scholar All-America program includes collegiate swimming and diving teams across NCAA Division I, II, and III, as well as NAIA and junior college institutions, highlighting the academic impact of the sport across all levels of competition.
In total, 16,421 student-athletes contributed to the 709 teams that earned Scholar All-America recognition. Each team was required to post a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher during the Fall 2025 semester, reflecting a sustained commitment to academic excellence.
The Peacocks' academic honor comes during the spring portion of the 2025–26 academic year and one week ahead of the program's final home meet of the season. Saint Peter's will host LIU, Monmouth, and Felician on Saturday, January 24, at the Victor R. Yanitelli, S.J. Recreational Life Center.
The meet will also serve as Senior Day, as the Peacocks honor graduating student-athletes
Victor Fuentes, Dean Lliguicota, Daniel Sanchez, Anthony Torres, Audrey Hill Franco, and graduate students Ashton Smith and Madison Petricevic.
