BOSTON, MASS. — The Saint Peter's track and field programs competed in Day One of the ECAC/IC4A Championships at Boston University's Track & Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon.
Amari Campbell delivered an impressive performance in the long jump, improving by more than .12m from his outing at the Metropolitan Championships, .10m from his indoor personal record at the NYC Gotham Cup, and .08m from his career best set at the 2023 MAAC Championships. His mark of 7.33m earned bronze and stood as Saint Peter's only medal of the day.
RESULTS
Campbell secured his podium finish on his final attempt, preventing a Rhode Island sweep and claiming third place. His mark ranks second all-time in program history. Matthew Santy claimed gold with a personal-best 7.56m, landing on Athletic.net's 2026 DI Indoor Top 100 at No. 41, while teammate Joachim Ennoo finished second with a jump of 7.42m.
Kennedy Vaughn led the Peacocks in the weight throw, posting a mark of 12.99m to finish 13th overall.
Lourdes Lawson followed with a personal best of 12.92m. Boston University went 1–2 behind Ellie Roan (20.42m) and Uchenna Uba (17.69m), with Maine's Cheyenne Figueroa (17.21m) rounding out the top three.
Quinnipiac's Nyasia Dailey (7.49), Sacred Heart's Nyahingiva Musa (7.52), and James Madison's Kyndal Turner (7.56) posted the top three times in the 60m prelims.
Karilynn Jimenez competed for Saint Peter's, clocking 7.95 to place 24th. Dailey later claimed the title with a personal-best 7.41, landing on Athletic.net's 2026 DI Indoor Top 100 at #90.
Brian Yeager competed in the 800m, finishing in 2:04.53. Maine's Kaleb Colson won the race with a personal-best 1:51.04, followed by Boston University's Karsen Vesty (1:51.62) and Iona's Aiden Cole (1:51.95).
Sebastian Lopez broke the nine-minute barrier in the 3000m, slashing more than ten seconds off his previous best and clocking 8:55.55 for 31st place. UMass Amherst's Collin Catherwood claimed gold in 8:06.65, followed by Iona's Matt Rankin (8:10.56) and La Salle's Jacob Gardner (8:13.98).
Jimenez posted a season-best 25.24 in the 200m to place 24th, while
Samyah Wilson finished 42nd in 26.14. The top eight times advanced to Sunday's final. Brown's Alyssa Jackson (24.01, PR), James Madison's Nina Dominique (24.07, SB), and Northeastern's Savannah Blair (24.15) led the qualifiers.'
DAY TWO
Brown and Lawson open the day in the shot put at 10 a.m., followed by
Adriana Rollins in the 60m hurdles.
Cashieve Blair, Favour Owolabi, and
Ajani Peck-Wekunda will compete in the 500m, before the women's and men's 4x400 relay squads close out the meet for Saint Peter's.
