JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Three Saint Peter's University men's golf players earned spots on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, CSC announced on Tuesday.
The Peacocks were represented by senior
Shiv Manhas, sophomore
Jack Hennelly and junior
Jeffery Yong.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's Golf teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the course and in the classroom.
Manhas capped off his Saint Peter's career with another solid season in the Peacock lineup, competing in all 10 events and 22 rounds. He posted a 79.9 scoring average, highlighted by a season-low round of 72 at the Carpetbagger Classic. Manhas recorded four rounds in the 70s during the year and turned in his best finish of the season with a tie for 31st place at the Carpetbagger Classic. He also helped lead Saint Peter's at the MAAC Championship, where he finished tied for 37th overall.
Hennelly emerged as one of the Peacocks' most consistent performers during the 2025-26 season. He opened the year among the Peacocks' leaders at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic and continued his strong play throughout the campaign, recording a top-50 finish at the Matthews Auto Collegiate Golf Invitational. During the spring season, Hennelly posted a 74 (+2) in the final round of the Carpetbagger Classic, highlighted by a stretch of 10 consecutive pars, helping him finish 52nd overall.
Yong turned in a standout season for the Peacocks, competing in all 10 tournaments and 22 rounds while leading the team with a 77.2 scoring average. He carded six rounds at par or better during the year, including a season-low 69 (-3) at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate. Yong also registered three top-25 finishes, highlighted by a tie for 14th place at the Carpetbagger Classic. He capped off the campaign as Saint Peter's top finisher at the MAAC Championship, placing tied for 25th overall.
