2011-12 Season – An integral part of the team as a freshmen competing in 12 events with a 78.2 stroke average…in the fall of 2011, helped the team to runner-up finishes at the Monmouth Quad match, ECAC Championships, and FDU Invitational. Competed in all 8 events for the Peacocks in the spring of 2012… shot 75 to help the Peacocks take first place against Monmouth and Lafayette at the Florida Tri-Meet…won medalist honors at the 2012 Peacock Invitational with a two-under par 70 and led the Peacocks to their first tournament victory since 2001…competed at the 2012 MAAC Championship and helped lead the Peacocks to a school best 2^nd place finish.

Before Saint Peter’s  - A four-year letter winner at Montezuma-Cortez High School… Grubbs was named 1st team All-Conference and finished in the top 25 at the Colorado High School Athletic Association State Championship in each of his four season... Captained his team to a 1st place finish at the Colorado Western Slope Regional Championship and a 2nd place finish at the CHSAA State Championship during his senior year…. Earned medalist honors in twelve high school tournaments…Has experience competing on the FCWT, PGA, AJGA, and GJT junior tours.
