Sean Dunne is a graduate of the Saint Peter’s University Class of 2016 and competed for the Swimming and Diving program for four years. During his college career, Dunne broke multiple school records and served as the team captain his senior year. Before college, Dunne attended Christian Brother’s Academy where he broke two school records and was named the Asbury Park Press’s Rookie of the year in New Jersey. Dunne also swam for the Red Bank YMCA for nine seasons and was named a 3-Time All-American.

Dunne has held coaching positions with Saint Peter’s Preparatory School as assistant swimming coach (2013-2016) and head water polo coach (2014-2016).

Currently Dunne is a police officer for the Port Authority of NY & NJ and is based out of Newark, NJ. He remains competitive by racing in open water swims, triathlon, and most recently by participating in the Navy Seal Hudson River Swim from Liberty State Park to Lower Manhattan.
