Antwuanette Wilkins-Brown begins her second season with Saint Peter's in 2020-21, serving as a volunteer assistant for the cross country and track & field programs.
The 2019-20 academic year saw the cross country and track & field coaching staff continue to build a solid foundation for both the track and field and cross country programs. With a young roster all across the board that competed well beyond its years, the Peacocks assured the rest of the conference that they will be a force to be reckoned with in the years ahead.
After a strong start to the academic year during a challenging cross country circuit, Wilkins-Brown and the rest of the coaching staff helped forge the most successful indoor track & field campaign during his tenure over the winter. The squad would improve with each passing invitational, culminating with an incredibly successful showing at the 2020 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships. Two rookies would take home major awards by way of freshmen Vernetta Gosier and Jabari Higgs-Salaam being named the 2020 MAAC Indoor Track and 2020 MAAC Indoor Field Rookies of the Meet, respectively. The Peacocks would also see their men's 4x400m relay team finish as the runner-up and several other individuals would medal in their respective events. The men would finish in fifth place in an eight-team field, while the women placed sixth out of nine programs before the outdoor campaign was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
