EDISON, NJ - Saint Peter's College freshman goalkeeper Carlos Suarez (Santa Cruz, Bolivia) was named the MAAC Rookie of the Week today after leading the Peacocks to a pair of victories last week. Suarez recorded his first two collegiate wins, both shutouts in a 2-0 week for Saint Peter's. He recorded five saves on the week and made numerous plays to cut off any scoring attempts by both NJIT on Wednesday and Columbia on Friday night.
Suarez and the Peacocks return to action tomorrow evening as they travel to take on #4 Maryland, the defending National Champions.
