KUTZTOWN, PA - The Saint Peter's College women's bowling team will participate in the first-ever live webcast of a complete NCAA women's bowling tournament this upcoming weekend.
The United States Bowling Congress (USBC) has announced that the 3rd Annual KU Invitational will be streamed on www.bowl.com beginning on Friday morning January 28th. The three-day tournament will be hosted by Kutztown University and held at Heister Lanes in Reading, PA.
28 women's collegiate teams will compete, including five of the eight teams that participated in last year's NCAA National Collegiate Women's Bowling Championship. The field also includes all ten members of the Northeast Conference (NEC). Saint Peter's has participated as an associate member of the NEC in the sport of women's bowling since the league's inaugural 2008-09 season.
After the conclusion of the tournament, USBC will archive the tournament coverage on www.bowl.com for future on-demand web viewing.
