HACKENSACK, NJ - The Saint Peter's College women's bowling team has once again earned recognition as one of the NCAA's top 20 teams.
The Bowling Peahens are ranked 17th in the National Tenpins Coaches Association December National Poll, released yesterday. It is the highest ranking Saint Peter's has ever received since the NTCA Poll began.
"I'm very proud of every member of our team as they are very deserving of this recognition," stated Head Coach David Freeman. "It has required a team effort to achieve our success so far this season."
The Bowling Peahens compete as an associate member of the highly-competitive Northeast Conference. Nine of the ten member teams appear in the December poll, while the final team also received votes. The Bowling Peahens finished directly above perennial poll members Adelphi University (#19) and St. Francis-NY (#20).
