The Saint Peter's College Peahens dropped two MAAC games this afternoon to the Niagara University Purple Eagles. Niagara won game one 11-1 and took game two 10-0. Saint Peter's struck first in game one as Nicole Olmedo and Alexis Gallagher successfully executed a delayed double steal which scored Gallagher on for a 1-0. Niagara then scored five runs, three unearned in the third to take a 5-1 lead. The Purple Eagles then added three more in the fifth and three in the seventh to get the 11-1 win. Niagara got on the board first in game two, plating seven in the second inning. The Purple Eagles then scored three more in the third for a 10-0 lead and the eventual win.Saint Peter's will wrap-up their regular season next Sunday as they host Manhattan for a 12pm first pitch at Jaroschak Field.
