The Saint Peter's University Peacocks find themselves in first place after a day one two round total of 588 at the Rutgers Men's Golf Invitational. Saint Peter's is tied for first with Monmouth and is two shot ahead of USC Upstate who sits in third.
Eric Edmunds led the way on day one with a pair of 69s and is sitting in third place. Andrew Gain is tied for fifth after shooting a 69 and a 72. Nick Dilio is in 19th place after shooting a two round total of 148, while Brian Grubbs shot a two round total of 149. Luke Previte rounded out the scoring with a two round total of 153.
"We played very well as a team today and look forward to tomorrow's final round," said coach Pete Falloon.
The final round will commence tomorrow morning in Piscataway.
