EDISON, N.J. – All-session tickets for the 2014 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships, March 6-10 at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA., are now on sale.
Tickets to the 2014 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships can be purchased at all TicketMaster outlets, online at TicketMaster.com, at the MassMutual Center Box Office or charged by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
An All-Session pass starts at $99 and includes access and a guaranteed seat to all nine sessions (20 games), and a one-day pass to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. VIP packages, which include tickets and a game program, as well as access to the Coors Light Hospitality Lounge and in-game courtside dining during the championships are available at $250 and $400.
"We're looking forward to an outstanding championship event in Springfield at the Mass Mutual Center," said MAAC Commissioner Richard J. Ensor. "Basketball has played such an important role here, with Springfield being the birthplace of basketball, and the MAAC is looking forward to adding to that legacy. Our regular season is off to an exciting start, and of course the culmination of that comes in early March when we crown our champions at the MassMutual Center."
Both the MAAC men's and women's champion will receive the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Championships. Last year, Iona won the men's championship, while Marist won the women's title. The MAAC is comprised of 11 prestigious private institutions located in the Metro and Upstate New York and Central Connecticut.
