WEST POINT, N.Y. - Nicholas Dilio (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay) finished tied for third to pace the Saint Peter's men's golf team at the Last Chance Classic on Sunday. The event was an individual one-day 36-hole event with no team scores.
Dilio posted a 78 in the first round and a 74 in the second round to finish third with a two-round score of 152, two strokes behind the medalist.
Eric Edmunds (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skanaeteles) also placed in the Top-10 after carding a 77 and 78 on the afternoon to finish with a 155 in eighth place.
Brian Grubbs (Cortez, Colo./Montezuma Cortez) (16th place, 159), Andrew Gain (Gold Coast, Australia/Bond College) (19th place, 162), Brandon Molson (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) (24th place, 171), Richard Jakubowski (Howell, N.J./Howell) (26th place, 183) and Steven Competiello (Staten Island, N.Y./St. Peter's Boys) (27th place, 186) also competed for the Peacocks.
Saint Peter's returns to action at the Monmouth Invitational on Thursday.
