JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Saint Peter's men's tennis head coach Mike Scolamieri has announced his 2014 spring schedule. The schedule features six homes matches in the month of February.
The 2014 squad opened up the campaign on the road against NJIT. The team returns to action Feb. 2 for its home-opener against Drexel. Saint Peter's opens up conference play Feb. 5, when the team welcomes to Marist to Yanitelli Bubble. The Peacocks resume action Feb. 9 when they welcome Bucknell University to Jersey City. Following the match, the squad continues its home stand Feb. 13 when they host Monmouth University. The team returns to action Feb. 16 to take on St. Francis (Pa.). Saint Peter's concludes the month of February with a home match against Hofstra.
The Peacocks open up the month of March on the road at Lafayette on Mar. 1. One week later, the team welcomes Wagner to Jersey City. The squad resumes action Mar. 22 when they square off against conference foe Siena. Saint Peter's ends the month on the road against Niagara on Mar. 30.
Saint Peter's begins the month of April with a trip to Quinnipiac on Apr. 5. The following day, the team welcomes St. Francis Brooklyn to the Yanitelli Bubble. The squad returns to action Apr. 9 when they take on in-state rival Fairleigh Dickinson. The team resumes play for a weekend slate, when they take on St. Joseph's on Apr. 12 and Mount St. Mary's on Apr. 13. The Peacocks concludes regular season action Apr. 19 when they travel to take on Fairfield.
