PRINCETON, N.J. – The Saint Peter's track and field team competed in the Tiger Open hosted by Princeton University on Saturday.
Michael Marcano (Roselle, NJ / Roselle Catholic) notched a top-5 finish in the 60-meter dash, clocking a time of 6.99 seconds. Jamel Presley (Rochester, N.Y. / Rahway High School) placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles with an 8.24 second effort.
Jermaine Lascelles (Bloomfield, Conn. / Bloomfield) finished in the top-10 in the high jump with a leap of 1.99-meters. Aondofa Anyam (Exton, Pa. / Church Farm School) placed fifth in the triple jump with a 13.33-meter performance.
Carolina Herrera (North Bergen, N.J. / North Bergen) finished nine overall in the women's 60-meter event with a time of 8.00 seconds.
Hasaana Smith (Newark, N.J. / Malcolm X. Shabazz) came in fourth-place in the women's high jump with a 1.62-meter effort. Meredith Przybocki (Pine Bush, N.Y. / Pine Bush) rounded out the top-10 finishes for Saint Peter's in the event. Jennifer Cajou (Amityville, N.Y. / Farmingdale) placed fifth in the women's triple jump with a leap of 11.45-meters.
Saint Peter's returns to action on Jan. 30 to compete in the John Thomas Terrier Classic.
