NEWARK, N.J. – Jodi Collymore (Middletown, N.Y./Pine Bush) won the dual-meet race with NJIT to pace Saint Peter's women's cross country to the win against its neighboring rival on Saturday. Quinn Geraghty (Bogota, N.J./Bogota) paced the Peacocks men's cross country team with a fifth-place standing against the Highlanders.
Collymore paced Saint Peter's for the second time this season after she finished as the top Division I finisher in the event with a time of 20:00.60. Geraghty has paced the Jersey City team in all three races this season after finishing fifth with a time of 27:33.15 in the 8K event.
Georgie Nicholes (Center Moriches, N.Y./Center Moriches) (3rd place, 20:25.25), Selena Marshall (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) (4th place, 20:49.05), Jackie Anderson (Bay Shore, N.Y./Bay Shore) (6th place, 20:54.04), Jovanna Larose (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick) (9th place, 21:33.04) and Deborah Myrtil (Half Hallow Hills, N.Y./Half Hallow Hills) (10th place, 22:46.70) also competed for Saint Peter's on the women's side.
Along with Geraghty, Marlowe Tooles (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) (10th place, 29:24.41), Johannes Guerrero (Jersey City, N.J./Dickinson) (14th place, 29:44.81), Kevin Olaya (North Bergen, N.J./North Bergen) (17th place, 31:22.32), David Miller (Willingboro, N.J./Willingboro) (18th place, 33:56.19) and Randel Maxwell (19th place, 40:07.72) participated for the men's team.
The Peacocks return to action at the Metropolitan Championships on Friday.
