HOWELL, N.J. – The Saint Peter's women's bowling team went 2-2 at the Garden State Classic over the weekend.
The Peacocks defeated Felician 762-749 and New Jersey City University 730-702 while falling 975-838 to Fairleigh Dickinson and 753-741 to Monmouth.
Lidia DeSapio (Frenchtown, N.J./Immaculata) paced the Peacocks with an average of 166.0 pins fall. The sophomore posted three games with at least 170 pins knocked down, including a score of 178 against the Knights.
Courtney Klukiewski (Voorhees, N.J./Cherokee) ranked second with an average of 165.20. The junior finished the day on a high note with a 188 against the Hawks.
Amanda Santos (West New York, N.J./Memorial) averaged 162.60 in the tournament, including a 183 against Fairleigh Dickinson.
Jacquelyn Broadfoot (Bloomfield, N.J./Bloomfield) averaged 155.20 for the two days, including a team-high 213 against the Knights while
Jasmine Hodges (Irvington, N.J./St. Vincent) averaged 129.20, including registering a 192.
This match concludes the 2015 portion of the schedule.
