JERSEY CITY, N.J. – Saint Peter's Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men's Golf back-to-back champions apparel is now on sale at www.peacocksgear.com.
After winning back-to-back MAAC titles, t-shirts, long-sleeve t-shirts, women's t-shirts and sweatshirts are now available to celebrate this great feat by the Peacocks men's golf team.
Saint Peter's won its second-consecutive MAAC title by going wire-to-wire in the three-day competition. The Peacocks defeated Iona by nine strokes after posting a three-round total of 885 to set a new program record at the championships. Junior Nicholas Dilio (Hopewell Junction, N.Y./John Jay) finished tied for the best score at the tournament while Brian Grubbs (Cortez, Colo./Montezuma Cortez) finished third and Eric Edmunds (Skaneateles, N.Y./Skaneateles) placed seventh to earn All-MAAC recognition.
The Peacocks will now compete in the NCAA Regionals on May 14-16. Saint Peter's will find out its destination on Monday during the Morning Drive broadcast on the Golf Channel at 10 a.m.
