BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Nicholas Riepe (Middlesex, N.J./Saint Joseph) won two events to pace the Saint Peter's swimming and diving team in a dual meet against Bridgeport on Sunday. Bridgeport downed the Peacock men 92-24 and the women 91-28.
Riepe won the 800 free with a time of 8:38.36 and finished third in the 50 fly with a time of 27.73. The junior also recorded the win in the 400 free with Bridgeport exhibitioning the event with a time of 4:09.27. Diego Rueda (Bucaramanga, Colombia/School of the Future) placed third in the 50 free (27.77).
Christina Petrelis (Belle Mead, N.J./Montgomery) paced the women's team with a second-place finish in the 50 fly (31.92) and a third-place standing in the 200 free (34.55).
Ericka Leynes (North Bergen, N.J./Hudson Catholic Regional) notched the win in the 50 breast (48.73) after Bridgeport exhibitioned the event and also finished third in the 50 free (34.55) while Brianni Thomas (Jersey City, N.J./Dickinson) was third in the 50 fly.
