JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Saint Peter's softball doubleheader at Stony Brook, originally scheduled for Sunday at 12 p.m., has been cancelled due to the impending weather scheduled to hit the area on Sunday.
With this cancellation, the Peacocks have five games remaining in the 2016 schedule. The squad travels to Rider on Tuesday for a single game at 1 p.m. Saint Peter's will play its final home doubleheader of the season on May 7 against Manhattan with seniors Lee Harrison (Las Vegas, Nev./Coronado) and Stacey Klempel (Winter Garden, Fla./Ocoee) being honored in between games. The Peacocks conclude the regular season at Monmouth on May 8. Game time against Manhattan is 12 p.m. and start time against Monmouth is 1 p.m.
Saint Peter's returns to action on Tuesday at Rider. First pitch is 1 p.m.
