JERSEY CITY, NJ - The Saint Peter's golf team will head to Hellertown, PA to compete in the Lafayette Invitational. The squad will compete in a two-day event from April 2-3 at the Silver Creek Country Club.
Saint Peter's will be up against 18 other teams on a 6,655-yard, par-72 loop coarse.
last time out… The Peacocks competed in the Wildcat Invitational. Mike Winters led the Peacocks T48 with a total score of (150,+8). Danny Lapp, Ryan Rodriguez and Dominic Diaz followed with a total score of 151, +9) while Jose Cardona posted a final score of (160,+18).

about the team… The Saint Peter's Men's Golf team hold two reigning MAAC golf Championships in 2014 and 2015 under the direction of Peter Falloon. The team boast a young team with four freshman, two sophomores, and one senior. Captain for the Peacocks, is senior Dominic Diaz.
about the coach… Head Coach Nick Dilio is a three-time NCAA qualifier, claiming the 2016 MAAC individual title. In the process of his collegiate career, he participated in the NCAA Regional action three consecutive years. As a junior he was a MAAC Runner-up and registered four top-15-and three-top-10 showings at the MAAC Championships. Dilio also made an appearance in the Porter Cup which is one of the top amature tournaments in the world. In previous years the Porter Cup hosted golf legends Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, David Duval, Ben Crenshaw, and Hal Sutton.
Director for the Men's Golf team is previous head coach, Peter Falloon. During his time as the head coach, he led the Peacocks to two consecutive MAAC Championships in 2014 and 2015. Falloon led Saint Peters in the NCAA Sugar Grove Regional in 2014 and the NCAA New Haven Regional in 2015. Three out of four years Falloon was named MAAC Coach of the year. Fallon is a member of the Saint Peter's Athletic Hall of Fame.
