Cross Country Is Headed to the METS

Cross Country heads to the METS, which will be held in Bronx, NY

METS Championships

Time: Women - 11 a.m., Men - 11:30 a.m.
Location:Van Cortlandt Park - Bronx, NY

Opening Word

The Peacocks head to the Bronx, NY to compete in the METS Championships.
The race is hosted by Fordham and will take place atVan Cortlandt Park.
The race will begin at 11 a.m. for the women and 11:30 a.m. for the men.
There will be 18 total teams participating in this race.

Men's Runners

Men's runners competing for the Peacocks will be: Rodolfo Cirilo, Patrick Hamilton, Douglas Nover, Jaskirt Singh, and Marlowe Tooles.

Women's Runners

Runners for the women's squad feature: Avosuahi Albert, Evelin Alvarez, Joanna Castaneda, Jodi Collymore, Daija King, Jovanna Larose, Gabriella Olivera, and Grace Proctor.

2018 Peacocks

This will be John Marshall's first season as the head cross country coach.
Marshall joined the Peacocks staff in the spring of 2018 for the start of the outdoor track & field season.
The team returns seven men's runners: Rodolfo Cirilo, Alex Daoud, Patrick Hamilton, David Miller, Joshua Okaro, Shaka Shomari and Marlowe Tooles.
Newcomers include Doug Nover and Jaskirt Singh.
The Peacocks return five of their women runners: Avosuahi Albert, Jodi Collymore, Daija King and Jovanna Larose.
New to the women's squad are: Evelin Alvarez, Joanna Castaneda, Grace Proctor and Gabriella Olivera.
