Women’s Volleyball Falls to Quinnipiac in Five Sets

The team jumped out to a 2 set to 1 lead, but couldn’t hold off the Bobcats in Jersey City

JERSEY CITY, NJ: The Saint Peter's women's volleyball team fell to Quinnipiac on Sunday afternoon (25-18, 9-25, 25-18, 20-25, 13-15). The Peacocks and Bobcats went five sets in a tight match.
 
Game Notes vs. Quinnipiac:
  • The Peacocks (2-13, 0-2 MAAC) came up short in the final match of the weekend against Quinnipiac, going five sets.
  • The team won the first set (25-18) and third set (25-18).
  • The Peacocks came within two points in the final set, but couldn't finish and dropped the set (13-15). 
Inside the Numbers:
  • The Peacocks had three players record a double-double.
  • Angelee Ng finished with 42 assists and 19 digs.
  • Alanis Alvarado had her fifth career double double with 15 kills and 15 digs.
  • Angeleyshka Curbelo concluded the game with 16 kills and 11 digs. 
  • Karla Seda added to the match a team high of 26 digs.
  • Kali Viles finished with 11 kills.
