Swimming & Diving Resumes Season at the Wagner Tri-Meet

Opening Dive
  • The Saint Peter's men's and women's swimming and diving teams return to action in the new year, kicking off 2019 with a Tri-Meet at Wagner on Friday, January 4 in Staten Island.
  • The women's team will face MAAC member Fairfield and host Wagner, while the men's team will only take on Fairfield.
  • During the 2018 portion of the season, the men's team posted a perfect 5-0 overall record and 1-0 record in the MAAC, the best overall start in a season for third year head coach Mark Kretzer.
  • The women's team comes into the meet 0-5 overall.
  • Wagner, which only has a women's team, is 6-3 on the season.
  • Fairfield is 0-6 on the men's side and 3-3 on the women's side.

  • The Peacocks travel to Lafayette on Monday, January 14 for a meet in Easton, PA.
Best start under Kretzer
  • The men's team won its first five meets, posting the best ever start under third year head coach Mark Kretzer.
  • The squad has victories over NJIT (118-115), Mount Saint Mary's (155-58), MAAC foe Manhattan (140.50-92.50), St. Francis Brooklyn (190-65), and Pace (139-75) to start the 2018-19 season.

  • For the second consecutive season, the men's swimming and diving team started the season 4-0 overall and 1-0 in the MAAC.
