JERSEY CITY, NJ - Saint Peter's Men's Basketball is proud to announce its collaboration with the Team Walker and the 2019 Team Walker Toy Drive. The toy collection will take place during the men's home game versus Fairleigh Dickinson on Wednesday, December 11.
Fans can drop off their new, unwrapped toy near the ticket booth at the designated table.
Every year, Team Walker celebrates the holiday season with a big extravaganza for all of its students in the After School Program at the Liberty Science Center. The students enjoy a pizza party and the various STEM expositions at the Liberty Science Center, and each child in the program receives a hand-wrapped gift for the holidays.
Team Walker's After School Program offers a safe place for students to complete homework and receive tutoring. Students participate in enrichment and recreation activities, and are provided a nutritious snack and meal. Team Walker serves Jersey City students, grades K through 10.
The Saint Peter's Athletic Department will be hosting the toy drive until halftime.
