Box Score 2 FAIRFIELD, CT - The Saint Peter's softball team lost both games in Tuesday's doubleheader against Fairfield. The first game the Peacocks lost 8-0 (5 innings) and the second game the team lost 6-0.
Game Notes vs. Fairfield:
Game 1:
- In the first inning, Fairfield scored the first two runs taking the lead 2-0.
- In the second inning, the Stags scored two more runs off two hits to stretch their lead to 4-0.
- During the fourth inning, Fairfield earned two more hits scoring two more runs (6-0).
- The Stags ended the game in the fifth with a two RBI single, bringing the game to an end, winning 8-0.
Game 2:
- Both teams did not score in the first two innings.
- In the third inning, the Stags went up 3-0.
- During the sixth inning, Fairfield hit a home run bringing in three runs to win the game 6-0.
- Theamaris Ramirez and Alyssa Adams each had a team-high of two hits against Fairfield.
