JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Saint Peter's University swimming & diving programs returned home to welcome Lafayette College to the the Yanitelli Center on Tuesday in a dual match that opened the 2020 portion of their season schedule. Many Peacocks enjoyed top finishes in the meet, which saw the visitors emerge on top on both the men's and women's side.

Top Performances
- The men's compilation of Mike Spark, Luke Cillie, Martin Le Pays du Teilleul and Andrew Galarza won the 200 yard medley relay in a final time of 1:37.47.
- Freshman Noah Berlin won the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:10.42.
- In the 200 yard freestyle, Efrat Marom finished second posting a time of 2:00.46.
- Two Peacocks had top finishes in the 200 yard freestyle, as Cillie placed first and Galarza was runner-up.
- Dylan Dela Cruz had the top finish in the 100 yard breaststroke, clocking in at 1:01.25.
- Amelie Essmann also was victorious in the 200 yard butterfly after finishing in 2:15.79.
- Cillie finished first in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 47.28.
- Sophomore Natalie Davis had a time of 2:15.95 in the 200 yard backstroke, putting her in a close second for the race.
- The Peacocks dominated the 200 yard breaststroke on the men's side with Brian Coughlin, Dela Cruz and Ferran Martinez claiming the top three spots, respectively.
- Le Pays du Teilleul claimed a second-place performance in the 100 yard freestyle, finishing at 54.10.
- The women's quartet of Davis, Devyn Hantgin, Essmann and Marom finished third in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:56.50.
