Women’s Basketball Announces Five-Game Non-Conference Slate for 2020-21

JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Saint Peter's University women's basketball team and head coach Marc Mitchell have announced a five-game non-conference schedule for the 2020-21 season. All five matchups will be played on the road and the quintet of out-of-conference contests will see the team travel to schools in New York, Maryland and New Jersey.

The season kicks off next Wednesday, Nov. 25, when the team travels to nearby NJIT, where the Peacocks will face off against the Highlanders in Newark for the second year in a row. Three days later, Saint Peter's will make the short trek to South Orange for a bout against Seton Hall on Nov. 28 as the two sides clash for the first time in two years.

Saint Peter's will then open up December when it travels to Queens the following week for a matchup against St. John's on Tuesday, Dec. 1. The program's fourth non-conference tilt will see the Peacocks travel to Baltimore to play Morgan State on Saturday, Dec. 5, as Saint Peter's looks to secure back-to-back victories over the Bears after winning last year's contest via a 78-77 margin at home.

The final game of the current non-conference ledger is set to take place Tuesday, Dec. 22, in nearby Teaneck when the Peacocks head up I-95 to take on Fairleigh Dickinson.

All non-conference games are subject to change and additional future opponents, if any, will be announced in the near future.
