JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Saint Peter's University's athletics department has announced that its men's and women's basketball programs will both play home games at New Jersey City University's (NJCU)
John J. Moore Athletics Center for their respective 2020-21 seasons.
Due to ongoing renovations as part of
the Yanitelli Center Transformation Project, the home of the NJCU Gothic Knights will play host to the Peacocks this winter. Both the men's and women's teams have already played one home game apiece at the venue, located nearly a mile from campus. The teams will have access to modern athletic training amenities and locker rooms on game days, as well.
Additionally, all start times for men's and women's basketball games are set for 8 p.m. While fan attendance is still prohibited through December per the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's
previously announced scheduling policy for the season, each MAAC home game will be broadcast on ESPN's digital platforms beginning with the men's home game against Niagara on Friday, Dec. 11.
