JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has unveiled its 2020 Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office Wednesday. A pair of student-athletes from the Saint Peter's University men's cross country program was honored among the 104 total student-athletes conference-wide.
Sophomore David Szaro joined redshirt freshman Luis Santizo as the Saint Peter's honorees among the league's compilation of elite academic performers in the classroom and on the track.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
