Things to Know Before our Valentine's Day Date
Series History
  • When Saint Peter's and Quinnipiac square off on Friday, it will be the 16th meeting in the all-time series dating back to the 1955-56 season.
  • In the series, the Peacocks lead the Bobcats 10-5 overall, and 8-5 with both as members of the MAAC.
  • On Jan. 18, Saint Peter's handed the then top-ranked Bobcats a 71-51, 20-point defeat on the road --- Quinnipiac's lowest point total of the season.
  • The Peacocks will be looking to secure the season series sweep over Quinnipiac for the third time in the past four seasons dating back to 2016-17.
  • Since Quinnipiac joined the league in 2013-14, Saint Peter's holds a 4-2 record against the Bobcats in Jersey City.

Hot at Home
  • Saint Peter's has been dominant at home this season, posting an overall record of 7-3 and a MAAC record of 5-1 in the Yanitelli Center.
  • Both home marks are the best starts for the team in the Yanitelli Center since the 2010-11 MAAC Championship squad, which went 6-0 and 8-2, respectively, through the same amount of games.
  • The men from Jersey City have won four straight at home and the squad has been victorious in seven of the past eight games at home.

Another One for the Rookies
  • On Feb. 10, freshman forward Fousseyni Drame claimed his second MAAC Pepsi Zero Rookie of the Week award of the season, joining his twin brother Hassan Drame as two-time winners of the award.
  • The Drame brothers combined with classmates Daryl Banks III and Aaron Estrada gave Saint Peter's six rookie of the week awards for the 2019-20 ledger.
  • The six rookies of the week awards by the program leads the MAAC in the category and the team's six total weekly awards only trail Canisius' seven combined weekly awards on the year.

Bring Out the Brooms
  • Following Sunday's road win in West Long Branch, Saint Peter's secured the regular season series sweep over its hOURglass Rival Monmouth.
  • The win gave the Peacocks their first season sweep over the Hawks since the 2013-14 campaign, when the Hawks joined the conference and the win improved the Peacocks all-time record over Monmouth to 27-15.
  • It also knocked Monmouth out of the conference's top spot, propelling Saint Peter's back into a tie for first place on the MAAC leaderboard.

Next Up
  • Saint Peter's will remain in Jersey City for a meeting with Fairfield on Sunday, Feb. 16.
  • The game will tip at 2 p.m. in the Yanitelli Center.
