JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Saint Peter's University baseball team has unveiled its 2022 schedule. The Peacocks' 50-game slate will see the Peacocks on the road through March, while they play all but three games at home during the month of May.
"We are very excited about our spring schedule and can't wait to get started this February," said head coach Lou Proietti. "We get to compete against some very good non-conference opponents to help us prepare for our MAAC conference schedule. Our guys have been working very hard and have waited over two years to get a chance to get back to a regular spring season. We look forward to our multiple trips down south and hope to create experiences and memories that these guys will have with them for the rest of their lives."
The Peacocks' 2022 campaign will feature four home series at Jaroschak Field and eight road series from March 20 to May 23. The schedule will also include five midweek dates every Tuesday and Wednesday from April 20-21 to May 18-19 that will be designated as COVID make-up dates.
Saint Peter's will begin the season at Fairleigh Dickinson on February 23, followed by a road series at Coppin State from February 25-27 to round out February.
