  • The Saint Peter's University softball team will travel to the Jersey Shore this week as it prepares for a doubleheader against hOURglass rival Monmouth on Tuesday, April 27.
  • The day will feature a pair of games scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
  • Most recently, Saint Peter's took the field against Fairfield in a four-game series from April 23-24.
  • The Stags secured the win in each of the four games, as the Peacocks no drop to 2-12 on the season.
History with the Hawks:
  • The Peacocks and the Hawks will meet for the 68th and 69th meeting between the two programs on Tuesday, as Saint Peter's trails 24-42-1 in the all-time series against Monmouth.
  • The hOURglass rivals met recently on April 22 for a doubleheader in Jersey City, which saw a sweep from Monmouth over Saint Peter's by scores of 8-4 and 16-1.
