JERSEY CITY, NJ - Two members of the Saint Peter's University swimming & diving program were among a handful of business students that competed in a special competition earlier this month.
For the first time, Saint Peter's University business students competed in a global business ethics competition and earned second place in the 10-minute presentation category. The team was comprised of five students, including swimming & diving student-athletes and seniors
Marie-Christine Geck and
Martin Le Pays du Teilleul. Marilú Marcillo, Ph.D. served as the Saint Peter's University faculty advisor for the competition.
On April 8 and 9, Loyola Marymount University's College of Business Administration in California hosted The 2021 IBESCC, virtually. This innovative competition enabled students from around the world to persuasively apply ethical reasoning to practical issues and the moral imperative of sustainable development goals (SDGs) that focused on a wide range of social, environmental and economic issues.
