For Starters:

The Saint Peter's University softball team will travel north on Friday as it prepares for a twin bill at Marist on Friday, April 30. The games were pushed back a day from their originally scheduled start of April 29 due to rain in the forecast on Thursday.
The doubleheader will consist of games beginning at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
During their last time out, the Peacocks traveled to hOURglass rival Monmouth on Tuesday, April 27 for a doubleheader matchup.
The Hawks went on to win both games, earning a 12-2 decision in Game 1, while securing a 4-0 win in the day's rematch.

History with the Red Foxes:

The Peacocks and the Hawks will square off for the 50th and 51st contests in the all-time series on Thursday afternoon.
Saint Peter's trails 18-31 since the first meeting between the two sides on March 29, 1992.
The Peacocks' last win over the Red Foxes came in Jersey City on April 1, 2007, when Saint Peter's swept a doubleheader over Marist by scores of 3-1 and 8-0.
The Peacocks are seeking their first win in Poughkeepsie since defeating the Red Foxes on the road with a pair of 5-0 decisions on April 18, 2004.

The Peacocks return to Jersey City to host Niagara for their final home series of the year from May 1-2. Saturday's games will begin at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., while Sunday's contests are set to start at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
