LORETTA, PA – After leading Saint Peter's attack over its three matches this past weekend, senior
Alanis Alvarado was selected to the Red Flash Classic All-Tournament Team.
In Saint Peter's three contests in Loretta, PA, Alvarado recorded a team-best 16 kills, and added 13 digs, and three assists to her stat line. She posted a team-high of 11 kills on Saturday against Big East opponent Georgetown, and finished second on the lineup in digs with eight against Saint Francis on Friday.
Alvarado was joined on the All-Tournament Team by Adriana Rodriguez and Sydney Lewis (Delaware State), Madi Tyus and Nicole Adams (Saint Francis), and Jessica Cusi and Brennan Wilhite (Georgetown).
The Peacocks return to the tri-state area next week, traveling to nearby St. Francis Brooklyn for a road match on Wednesday, September 8 at 7pm.
