Another Winning Streak

  • Saint Peter's has taken down Canisius and Iona over the last two games, marking the second time this season they have been on a winning streak.
  • The team handled Canisius, winning by 19. The Peacocks squeaked by Iona, winning the game by only one point.
  • With a win against Manhattan, the Peacocks will have matched their longest winning streak of the season, which came in a three game stretch in December which saw them beat Niagara, Canisius, and Fairleigh Dickinson.

One-Sided

  • Coming into Saturday's matchup, Saint Peter's has the lead in the series against Manhattan, but have lost 16 straight matchups against the Jaspers, dating back to 2015.
  • The two teams met three times last year; the two yearly conference games and a non-conference contest due to Covid-19. The Jaspers outscored the Peacocks by 44 points over the course of those three games.
  • Manhattan has outscored Saint Peter's by 240 points across their 16 game winning streak.
