Saint Peter's University Athletics and women's basketball will host the Play4Kay & NGWSD game this Thursday, February 10 as the Peacocks welcome Siena to Run Baby Run arena for a conference contest. Saint Peter's welcomes all female student-athletes, coaches, and administrators to the game to be honored at halftime. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 pm.
Play4Kay is the NCAA initiative by the KayYow cancer fund. Their mission is to unite players, coaches, officials, and fans to do something for the greater good that far exceeds wins and losses in competition. The Play4Kay initiative is the largest fundraiser and plays a major role in the success of the fund. Click

The 36th annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day took place last Wednesday, Feb. 2. It was also the 50th Anniversary of Title IX. NGWSD recognizes student-athletes, champion athletes, coaches, administrators and lawmakers committed to providing equitable access to sports for all girls and women.
