Swimming & Diving Scores 17 Selections to MAAC All-Academic Team

EDISON, N.J. – Saint Peter's men's and women's swimming and diving earned 17 selections to the 2021-22 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic Team, the league announced on Tuesday.

The men's team's 10 honorees include graduate student Oleksiy Polishchuk; seniors Dylan Dela Cruz, David Dolgitzer, Thomas Granet, Yann Le Gall and Juan Montes; juniors Luke Cillie, Brian Coughlin and Brendan Vieira; as well as sophomore JT Funari. 

The women's team had selections from seniors Karen Alvarez, Natalie Davis, Devyn Hantgin and Miranda Yeats, as well as juniors Alexandra Gamero, Efrat Marom and Noelle Sprenkle.

To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.

Polishchuk is a four-time MAAC All-Academic selection, while Dolgitzer, Hantgin, Le Gall, and Yeats are all three-time honorees, earning the distinction each year they were eligible for it.
