JERSEY CITY, N.J. (June 23, 2022) - Noemie Lacroix-Moreau has been announced as a new addition to the Saint Peter's University athletic department as the Coordinator of Student-Athlete Development and Leadership, Director of Athletics Rachelle Paul announced Thursday.
"We are beyond excited to welcome Noemie to the Saint Peter's family," Paul said. "Her expertise in the area of academic improvement as well as her experience working with SAAC make her a true fit for this position. We look forward to her making a positive impact on Saint Peter's athletics."
Lacroix-Moreau comes to Saint Peter's after spending the last two years as a Graduate Assistant for Compliance and Academics at Wagner College.
In her new role at SPU, Lacroix-Moreau will oversee the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) as well as life skills and leadership programming. In addition, she will assist with compliance and academic items for the entire athletic department.
In her time at Wagner, Lacroix-Moreau assisted with SAAC while also coordinating tutoring and study hall sessions for student-athletes. She also provided academic support and guidance and served on the Diversity Education and Inclusion Committee.
Prior to working with the Seahawks, Lacroix-Moreau attended Long Island University where she was a standout student-athlete with the Sharks' swim team, serving as a team captain while winning the Claire Isicson-Merle Athletic Excellence Award, presented to the student-athlete who best exemplifies leadership, sportsmanship and achievement.
A native of Montreal, Canada, Lacroix-Moreau graduated from Wagner in 2022 with her Master's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing and achieved her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from LIU in 2020.
