JERSEY CITY, NJ - The Saint Peter's University women's soccer team lost to George Washington University 5-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Game Notes
- The Colonials got off to a quick start, scoring in the tenth minute.
- George Washington doubled their lead in the 30th minute.
- The Peacocks recorded zero shots in the first half. They trailed 2-0 at the break.
- The Colonials struck quickly out of the break, scoring in the 52nd minute.
- The first Peacock shot came at the 56 minute mark from sophomore midfielder Carlota Pastor Romero. Her shot went high.
- George Washington made it 4-0 in the 63rd minute.
- The only shot on target for Saint Peter's came from graduate midfielder Skyler Owens, who had her attempt saved in the 85th minute.
- The Colonials scored again in the 89th minute off of a free kick.

- Saint Peter's recorded three shots. Owens, Pastor Romero, and freshman forward Taylor Moyer each had one. Owens had the only shot on target for the Peacocks in the contest.
