ITHACA, NY. - The Saint Peter's men's cross country team competed against Cornell and Syracuse at the John Reif Memorial on Friday. SPU's

Ryan Fernandes,
Brendan Heaney,
Clardo Nestor,
Gerado Quaglia, and
Connor Ziolkowski ran in the men's 5K.
Quaglia (38th) finished the race as SPU's highest finish at 17.38.4. Quaglia was followed by Heaney (40th) who completed the race in 17:40.7. Nestor ran a time of 17:59.1 and closed out the race in 42nd place. Ruiz (43rd) finished the race in 18:08.9, followed by Ziolkowski (47th) who ran a time of 18:35, and Fernandes (48th) who completed the race in 19:23.6.
Next, the Saint Peter's cross country team travels to Montgomery for the 2023 MAAC Cross Country Championships on Oct. 28.
