Jersey City, N.J.- The Saint Peter's University men's soccer team fell to Fairfield University, 2-1, on Wednesday afternoon at Jaroschak Field.
Game Notes
- The Peacocks lost a heartbreaker to the Stags on Senior Day. It was a day in which Saint Peter's honored seniors Bryan Gomez, Conlan Paventi, Mikkel Fodstad, and Pedro Alves.
- In the 14th minute, Saint Peter's found itself with an early 1-0 advantage following Charlie Hare's goal. The team carried that slim lead into halftime.
- Fairfield found a way to tie the game with a Raz Amir goal in the 69th minute.
- There was controversy when a Fairfield goal was called back towards the end of the game, but the Stags quickly responded to that erased goal with a second goal that stood in the 84th minute.
